For nearly two decades, Jeff Alumbaugh has created custom stage backdrops for some of rock music's most recognizable artists.This gallery features a collection of original backdrops painted for iconic rock bands and musicians. Each backdrop is created for live performances, bringing large-scale artwork to concert stages around the world where it is seen by millions of fans.

The Smash Mouth backdrop used in Color On The Backdrop is one of those original works. After touring with the band, it was returned to Jeff and given a new purpose—inviting children to add their own creativity to a genuine piece of rock-and-roll history.
