The Art Behind the Performance
For more than three decades, I’ve created large-scale backdrops for iconic classic rock bands including KISS, Queensrÿche, Tesla, Night Ranger, Ratt, Smash Mouth, April Wine, and many others. Millions of concertgoers around the world have experienced my artwork under the stage lights.
A Belief That Gives the Work a Greater Purpose For Kids
I’m grateful for the career these backdrops have given me. I also believe that opportunity creates an obligation—to use my art and experience to help kids discover creativity, craftsmanship, and possibilities they may not otherwise encounter.
When a Valuable Visual Asset Goes Unused
Backdrops built to command a large are often packed into road cases when the lights go down. As more venues use video walls, that artwork can sit unseen for long stretches. A piece of rock-and-roll art capable of inspiring thousands should not lose its purpose simply because it is not onstage.

What if a backdrop could continue making an impact when it's not on stage?
VIBE—Visual Impact for Bands and Education—gives selected hand-painted backdrops a continuing life. They serve the band when needed, then return to communities when they are not onstage.
Between performances, the artwork becomes part of educational presentations, community programs, and hands-on creative experiences for kids and families.
Smash Mouth▼ has already shown what a backdrop can become within the VIBE program. Now, Twisted Sister begins that journey.

A new 9-foot by 20-foot hand-painted concert backdrop is being created through VIBE and funded through sponsors. The drumriser skirt and left/right amp masks are part of the band's commisioned project.
This backdrop will give the band a powerful visual presence at performances where an LED wall or video screen is unavailable. When it is not needed onstage, it will return to the VIBE program.

A powerful stage image still matters, even when the realities of modern touring make it difficult for bands to justify the cost.
Sponsor support makes the artwork possible without placing the full burden on the band. It gives Twisted Sister a professional backdrop when needed—and gives the artwork a continuing purpose when it is not onstage.
That support also helps VIBE create more concert art, welcome more bands, and place more real-world creative experiences in front of kids.

$1,500 Per Sponsorship Position
The $4,500 Twisted Sister VIBE backdrop is divided into three equal sponsorship positions. A business may sponsor one position for $1,500 or fund the complete project.
Sponsor recognition lives within the project website, related online content, outreach, and the backdrop’s educational and community use.

Every sponsorship is built around three lasting benefits: meaningful association with an iconic music project, connection to its educational and community purpose, and a permanent place in the project's continuing story.
Meaningful Project Association
A linked sponsor logo will appear on the VIBE project hub and dedicated Twisted Sister project page. Project cards, social content, outreach, and media opportunities will direct audiences to those pages, keeping the sponsor visibly connected as the project's story unfolds.
Connection to Its Community Purpose
Your sponsorship helps give an iconic concert backdrop a life beyond the stage through educational presentations, community experiences, and creative opportunities for kids and families.
A Permanent Place in the Project's Continuing Story
Your sponsorship becomes part of the project's permanent online record through continuing updates, documented milestones, project reporting, and the lasting story of the backdrop as it serves both the stage and the community.
Visible Project Association
These benefits connect the sponsor to the Twisted Sister VIBE project as audiences follow the backdrop through its creation, promotion, band use, and community journey.
1) Direct-to-Family Project Visibility
VIBE project cards are kept on hand and consistently distributed to parents through everyday community outreach—not limited to a single event or campaign. The QR code opens the VIBE Projects hub, where each sponsor’s linked logo appears with the sponsored project. Families can then visit the dedicated project page, where the sponsor’s linked logo appears again with an expandable business profile.
2) Ongoing Social Media Association
The sponsor’s name and logo are included in relevant project announcements, painting-progress updates, behind-the-scenes content, backdrop reveals, and continuing VIBE updates. The sponsor’s social media account is tagged whenever the platform allows.
3) Online Association Surrounding Media Opportunities
Podcasts, interviews, guest appearances, and other media opportunities may generate new attention around backdrop painting, VIBE, and the broader mission. Sponsor visibility is provided through the related webpages, project profiles, social media posts, and other online placements—not through mentions within the appearance itself.
4) Primary Project Positioning
Recognition as either the Exclusive Project Sponsor or one of three Founding Project Sponsors of the Twisted Sister VIBE backdrop.
5) Association With An Iconic Band
The sponsor becomes publicly connected to an official Twisted Sister project—not a tribute event or generic rock promotion.
6) Association With VIBE
Recognition as one of the businesses or organization helping support Visual Impact for Bands and Education.
7) Linked Logo and Name On the Dedicated Project's Web Page
Prominent recognition on the Twisted Sister sponsorship and project webpage.

10) No Advertising Placed on the Artwork

11) Sponsor-Ready Photos and Videos
Selected media assets the sponsor can use on its own website, social platforms, newsletters, displays, and internal communications.
12) Prepared Talking Points
Clear language the business can use to explain what it supported, why the project matters, and how it benefits both kids and music.
Connection to Its Community Purpose
These benefits connect the sponsor to the larger purpose of VIBE as the backdrop continues creating value beyond the concert stage.

The sponsor helps bring a real professional concert backdrop into educational presentations and creative experiences for children.
14) Community-Program Association
Recognition when the backdrop participates in appropriate VIBE presentations, exhibitions, and community activities.

16) Employee and Customer Pride
The sponsor has a compelling story it can share with employees, customers, clients, and community partners.
17) Employee or Client Engagement Opportunities
Possible studio visits, reveal invitations, presentations, or other carefully controlled experiences connected to the project.
18) A Continuing Life for the Backdrop
The sponsor helps the artwork remain active when it is not needed onstage, allowing it to serve educational and community purposes instead of remaining packed away.
19) Association With a New Model for Concert Art
The sponsor becomes part of a broader VIBE model in which hand-painted concert backdrops serve the band, remain culturally active, and continue creating value beyond the performance.
20) Permanent Connection to the Project’s Purpose
The sponsor’s association remains part of the project record as the backdrop continues serving music, creativity, education, and community experiences.
A Permanent Place in the Project Continuing Story
These benefits keep the sponsor connected to the documented journey of the backdrop—from its creation in the studio through band use, community use, and its permanent online record.
21) Project Traffic and Activity Reports
Sponsors receive weekly reports showing project-page traffic and tracked website activity gathered through the website’s custom coding. These reports provide a clear view of audience activity connected to the sponsorship and project pages.Sponsor acknowledgment within relevant updates, announcements, videos, articles, and project materials.
22) Association Throughout the Project Story
The sponsor remains connected through relevant updates, announcements, videos, articles, and project materials as the backdrop progresses.
23) Permanent Project-Archive Association
The sponsor remains connected to the backdrop after the initial painting period. The project page and recap remain online as a lasting record.
24) Painting-Process Content Series
Sponsor recognition connected to photos, videos, progress updates, behind-the-scenes footage, and major painting milestones.
25) Personal Sponsor Thank-You Content From Classic Backdrops
A dedicated thank-you photo, statement, or video acknowledging the sponsor’s role.
26) Completed-Project Recap Package
Final photographs, story summary, project results, educational use, and band-use updates packaged for the sponsor.
27) Studio Visit
The sponsor and related team will be invited to see the backdrop while it is being painted and experience the scale of the work firsthand.
28) Behind-The-Scenes Access
Opportunities to see parts of the process that the general public normally would not.
29) Artist Q&A or Presentation
A private or small-group conversation about the backdrop, Twisted Sister, the painting process, touring logistics, and the VIBE mission.
30) Band-Use Updates
The sponsor receives updates about the backdrop being shipped, installed, displayed, photographed, or used by Twisted Sister.
31) Connection To the Complete Journey
The sponsor is associated with the backdrop’s progression from blank canvas, to Jeff’s studio, to the stage, and back into educational use.
32) Long-Term Visibility
Because the backdrop continues moving between band use and VIBE activities, the sponsorship story can continue beyond a single launch date.\
33) Project Keepsakes
Potential items such as a signed project photograph, printed artwork, paint-process artifact, or other tasteful project memorabilia.
